Great idea to choose makro as contesttheme!
It was an occasion for me to try intensifly the Macro-options of the G700. Before, I was a bit unhappy, as I thought, I should have buyed the GX200 Ricohmodell for its better lightoptions and quickness, but now I am very happy again with my camera. I like the colours and making intervallseries (other post) its heaviness is really usefull. Here a picture, I made without intervallshots. As it didn't move anymore the poor, a good occasion for me as beginner.

I thought I would add a bit of 'macro colour' to this excellent collection of pics! ;)
This is my nearest tourist attraction, and is actually a local housing scheme design by the now deceased Viennese artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser.
He chose the midnight-blue tile glaze and the 'phone-box red'....however, the yellow belongs to of the cake-shop which arrived only after his death.

- Microseconds in Macro -
A tabletop close up of a favourite subject.
Just something a bit different from the flowers and insects- although they are great
Adjusted for a bit more high key look, approaching monochromatic. Exposure 2 seconds to blur the second hand.
* Can you spot the fault?
