First off I'll say I LOVE my GXR P10 Ricoh. I was happy to find a camera that really fits my needs. I carry this camera nearly everywhere I go. It has been much loved and well cared for.
My issue is after I connected it to my Mac one day to transfer some photos, I disconnected properly, but the green light started blinking & the camera lens came out and stayed out. I turned the camera off and the lens would retract and then come back out. I then took the battery out and put it back in which did the same thing. I took the battery out again and switched it on, then put the battery in again. This time it finally retracted the lens then came on like it should.
Then the camera appeared to be fine for at least a month.
Now it randomly happens while I'm out taking photos. For no apparent reason.
I just purchased this camera NEW in September should I just send it in for repairs? It randomly happens, so I'm not sure how they can inspect it - if its having a "good week" and not doing this crazy lens thing.
Is anyone else having this issue?
