Lens ring (from Nisi) stuck

I have a problem, some time ago I bought one of these Nisi filters with a lens filter adaptor (or whatever the thing is called). I wanted to be able to use a polarizer. In that set there was some lens rings that looked good, so I put one of them on my camera and didn't have a problem. When out traveling this summer I noticed that the ring was difficult to remove, but since I was out traveling I didn't investigate it further ... and then I forgot about it.

Now, I realized that the ring is completely stuck and I can't remove it. It's a bit strange, since I can rock it back and forth a little tiny bit, perhaps 1/3 of mm, but I can't remove it. I've tried strength without success. I looked at the other ring that came with the set and they have no lock screw as the original ring.

I have no idea why it's stuck, or how I can get it off. Before I try some stuff that might damage things, does anyone have some suggestions for what have gone wrong and what I can do to fix it?

I'm not fully sure now, but do you have the filteradapter or the ring on the body attached? Possible to attach some pictures of this "problem"?

I am also having this issue with a haoge filter ring on my GR IV. It’s now stuck on my camera and I can’t remove it. Did you manage to find a way to remove yours?

Unfortunately not. If I was to guess I think it be something related to the locking mechanism of the standard lens ring and that our rings get stuck in some way

Oh no! Guess I'll have to reach out to Ricoh customer services or the retailer I purchased it from and see if they can help. What a nuisance!

Please let me know if you figure out a solution. I've been thinking about to send it customer services here in Sweden but I've been swamped with work the last few months

When grabbing the ring, use more than two fingers. Use three or four as two fingers distort the ring into an oval. Don't pinch hard, just enough to move the ring.

And you guys mounted the ring in correct position?
It's not symmetrical lockings all the way around, putting it in the wrong position might "fix" it permanently on the body (camera housing).
The mounting is plastic and the rings usually is some metal alloy, so if anything gives up, it's the plastic.
Also I dont know if all 3rd party rings are shaped similarly than the original, so is there any differences between these ones?

For those who are interested, I ended up sending the camera in for service and they quickly fixed it. It costed me about €25 so well used money

Where did you send your camera for service? Precision Camera (Ricoh's authorized repair center in the U.S.) charges a minimum of $395.
