LCD sensitivity adjustments

Hi forum

I find that the lcd on this camera does not very sensitive to changes in exposure value. For example early morning scenic shoot on the tripod requires about 4" after you go past 1.6" the lcd does not really show the change.

I have compared this with my 5dii with the same scene, and where I can use the canon lcd screen as a very accurate reflection of the what my final exposure will look like, even up to at least 15", with the gr i can't achieve this.

I know that the canon has exposure simulation that you can turn on and off, but i have not find anything like this in the gr menu, am i missing something?

Secondly, when adjusting the shutter speed on the gr, you don't see the histogram at the same time, whereas on the canon you can. Is there somewhere in the gr menu that i can allow the histogram to display when changing the shutter sped or aperture?

Thanx for your input.

Karl
