It's winter down here now & my new play thing is an R8.
Nice little day to day shooter for the whole family.
It has almost every thing a GRD or GX has but without hassel.
Having never owend a CX, I can't comment.
There are some buttons I'm not familear with
(Slow shutter Lmt) and (Fix Min. Apeture)
At the moment I just keep them set to OFF
But I am loving the (Auto Bracket = CL BKT)
Have'nt checked my GRDs or GXs for this feature, but it is handy when shooting JPEGs.
Here is what I mean. It's all done at one push of the shutter button. Less processing/more SD card space taken up.

All just resized snapp'n before work. A great little family shooter the R8.

Interesting series Phil...and as you say, all done with one press of the finger!
Could imagine them framed up, the three images to a frame, hanging in a classy boutique...
