Into the sun with the new 24-85mm

attached a downsized shot taken at 85mm on the new module. One of a set of shots taken yesterday and today, happy to report that so far, I am more than happy with quality from this module. I have seen some of the soft top corners wide open at the wide angle end, and at 100%, but not noticeable at normal viewing sizes.

It is generally assumed that this module 24-85 is really excellent.
There are many images on the NET to really see the high quality 28mm and 50mm modules, but very few for now with this new lens.
Please,Wyrleyrob, give us more!
big thank you

afraid my photography is all about transport, so subject matter may not interest everyone. What may interest forum members is this shot at 800ASA. I think it is pin sharp with good colour, and IQ on a par with most DSLRs. Again original has been downsized for the site.

I have been practicing photography for over 50 years, and I am convinced that every subject is able to present an picture interest.I think the interest is also:light, composition , coulours, and mysterious elements, for our pleasure!
Also, if transport is your favorite subject, we made a lot of pictures of transport.
Thank you again and sorry for my english !

Agree with autochrome... if the transport is your favorite subject we will enjoy your pictures!
The nice things of this forum are the various styles and subjects you can find and a lot of nice pictures from which you can take some suggestions for your shots...

P.S. btw.. I love trains!

I think the mysterious element here was where the bus on the left was heading to. Transport would make a good topic for a 'sticky' - I'm still wanting that 1937 Fiat Simca Topolino (http://www.ricohforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=8240). Pictures of planes, trains & cars (& buses and fire engines) appeal to me.

This looks like a very handy lens.
