Interview: Why the Ricoh GR was designed like we know it today...

This is an interview with Inaba san, one of the designers of the Ricoh GR line (GR2, GR3/3x and probably also of the GR4). This video is around 1 year old. For Ricoh GR interested people, it will help them to understand why the GR is looking as we know it.

This is a good video, i watched this when it came out. Definetly interesting points here.

I find it interesting, how much they think of these little details, which have an impact in the usability of the camera in daily use. Like the rounded shape on the top plate but flat shape at the butom and the side. I would not have realised that my GR3/3x or IV is shaped differently on all sides without this video and why they did it.

It's the same on the GR that i got 2015 also, it was something I noticed and have used from the start, i don't know if the film-era GR's have it similar?
There is some interesting articles about these designfeatures on Ricoh's sites and blogs also.
