hey cool shot!...i love the grain n all the texture of this pic,....can u plz tell me how you took this pic, was it with an infrared filter? or do u do this pp...if with a filter what grade/strenth etc...i would love to try to make these kind of pix...thx for sharing Leews
odklizec: thank you, i'm happy that you enjoy this piece
marky: i dont have the master workflow file now in my workplace (will put up an example later). But roughly i remember as follows...
1) The picture is taken using a Hoya R72 filter. The picture is already grainy to begin with, but i like noise
2) in photoshop, the red and blue channel is swapped.
3) A BW texture photo (again from my own stock using grd) of a tile is "soft" overlayed on top of the IR picture.
4) the texture photo is particular selected such that the light and shadow areas match (as much as possible) to the IR picture.
5) the texture is 90% transparent.
a note, if you are shooting on GRD, exposure of >2sec will give you hotspot.
well i have my cir-pl and uv, next up is probably a red or orange for b+w and now the R72...do you know if is this avalible in 43mm?...or will i need to buy a step up ring too!...gx100+dw-6+ha2+cir-pl+uv+500gb hard drive= nearly £700.......and i still need to buy a printer!.......and last year i bought a house,a car and i got married!..........hmmm......guess i shouldnt tell the wife lol, she wants to decorate the house........£700 would be well spent there!
