I like the "reality" of these photos. They do not have the artificial digital look to them. How was the B&W achieved?

I like #2. There is an abstract effect with the breakers in the background. I also like the independent gull that decided to face the other way (despite the anchovies). Are you going to spill the beans on the PP?

Yup, although #2 & #3 have great qualities, and the three sit well together as a series, there IS something special about #1...

Thank you all for the kind responses. ....I'm really glad you liked them as I wasn't too sure about this lot. :?
Ahh, PP...All taken care of in Picassa. First one Holgarised only. Second and last slightly vignetted with small degrees of (picassas version of) 'HDRish'. Jpegs only. Resized with Paint.net. That's it. Fairly simple really.... ......
Oh and thanks to the anchovies.. ( :lol: Gab+Richard)
