How cold is it?

I hear a news from my 's friend he live in Helsinki Finland last week ago the temperature has a new record -40 degree .:shock: :shock: :shock:

But the winter at Bangkok Thailand day=33 degree , night 24 degree :lol: :lol: :lol:

Part of my extended family still lives in the northerly province of Friesland. They are glad for the cold because they can once again hold the Elfstedentocht (11 cities ice-skating tour via canals).
