I got me a Ricoh CX5 recently because it was dreadfully cheap ... turned out to be a camera with zillions of menu items

If you get a chance, I'd be happy to see how the cx5 does people shots at the long end (300mm., right?). Portraits from 20 meters, people at markets, stuff like that - where the photographer is not too close to the subject.
