Hi everyone,
New owner of the excellent Ricoh GR.
I live on the East coast of Australia about 3 hours drive north of Sydney in a rural beachside town.
Looking forward to speaking with members on all thing related to the Ricoh GR and I hope to contribute photos from my area when they are worth sharing.
I chose the Ricoh GR for its size, APS-C sensor, hi ISO ability, snap focus, prime lens and the ability to capture 28mm, 35mm and 47mm crops without having to swap lenses.
Whilst I love shooting Street, my tiny rural town makes it a little difficult, but I also enjoy shooting travel photos, seaside photos and quirky things that capture my eye. Oh and buildings/architecture.

Regards,
Steve.

Hi Steve,
from a Croweater over the border.
I've been up your way many years ago, its a nice part of the country if I recall.
Congratulations on the recent acquisition of the GR, the GR does nice blues I think, should be good for some seascapes.
Look forward to seeing your part of the country.

Cheers

Tim

Thanks for the welcomes.
Tim, yes it's quite scenic here and also busy at present with Sydney tourists, but with school soon to recommence it should quiten down back to normal.

I've commenced a blog for my GR photos which is at http://www.grpics.weebly.com if interested in seeing this part of the world. I'm unsure how it will unfold as I haven't previously done a blog and it's only early days with the camera, so not much to post so far.

Welcome on board Steve and enjoy the community. Your photo work seems promising. Do not hesitate to share your photos also here in this forum.

Hello Steve and welcome here! Took a look at your promising blog, and would enjoy seeing additional shots from your part of the planet. Especially if there's a bike ride involved.... :)

Hi Steve, liking the look of your blog pics! Welcome to a friendly bunch of 'not quite so serious' camera users...I think you will fit in fine here!
