Hi all.
I am Matt, born in the Summer of '69 and active amateur photographer since my 16th birthday. Starting with Nikon (due to my fathers equipment), I stuck with that brand until 2014. Being fed up with bulk and weight of my D800s and 2.8 Zooms, I switched to Fujifilm. I am using it still (currently X-T5, previously GFX 50s and other models). I always liked the easy and uncomplicated way that Ricoh GR series offered, but wasn't too keen on the 28 mm equiv. field of view. So I started using the GR IIIx last year and added a GR III recently.
I am interested in nearly any field of photography and currently enjoyed the japanese post-war photographers like Moriyama, Tomatsu, Nakahira and such. At the moment, being inspired by their high contrast and grainy images, I try to find my approach. I consider the GR IIIs to be the perfect tool for that.
Best regards
Matt
