After all, i`m absolutely happy with my GR II digital which i got 2 weeks ago. After 30 years of taking pictures and after 20 years selling cameras almost every day, i had the opportunity to "play" with almost every camera on the market. I allways liked cameras with a fixed lens. Of cause i worked with sigmas DP1. I didn`t liked the speed and the lens. Even the body looked very listless and indifferent to me. Now i`m so happy with my GR II, i am back on the streets again, taking pictures. It`s almost like in " old days" for me. The GR II is absolut fun, quality, style and full of useful and intelligent programs to take good pictures. I´m looking forward to get the 40mm tele conversion and ,maybe, the viewfinder. I will be around often at this place and i am anxious to see pictures of the members of this forum ( till now i`m not shure how to get to them..... ;)

greetings and all the best from Frankfurt..............

Hi Klaatu and welcome on board! Nice to hear you like GRDII! It's my most favorite camera (until GRDIII or something even better). Do you shot RAW or JPEG? Hope to see some your photos soon! ;)

At the moment, there is no proper gallery on this forum but I'm working on this. For the time being, you can see members' photos anywhere around, but mainly in the "Photos" section of this forum. Hope to add a real gallery in the upcoming forum upgrade. Wish me luck because this will be tricky and somewhat dangerous integration.

Hi odklizec and thank`s for the warm welcome. I allready looked at a lot of pictures from members of the ricoh forum and i am absolut smashed by the quality of the pictures. i`m still just on JPEG, but soon i will start to work a bit with the RAW format. How big are the pictures than ? I`ll see. But i am shure it will be fun to work with GR RAW pictures. I got my first "camera" when i was 7. And till then i am always with a camera, more ore less. But the GR II is something to me. It reminds me of my times with my Leica M 4. The feeling is almost the same. But GR II can do much more.

I just started with this supertoy, so here is the first results: http://www.flickr.com/photos/klaatuffm/

greetings to you and the forum from Frankfurt - Klaatu -
