Great news folks! According of this interesting article, there should be announced something about GXR future (see the end of article):

It seems Ricoh listened the call for "Road Map" and we may eventually get an inside look at GXR future :) Let's start another round of wild speculations :D

I'm sorry folks, but this was a false alarm :( I tried some more translation services and now I know for sure what this date means. It's just the release date of next (final) part of GXR development article. I'm very sorry for starting this false alarm.

I'm confused with the translation. Is it just firmware update or new lensor/sensor module?

I think the next in line is a superzoom lensor? Maybe 28-300mm with 1/2.3" sensor?

I'm hoping for a full frame or at least aps-c sensor-only module. If Ricoh can't solve the slow AF issue, I say why bother wasting time and cost for it?
Just make the sensor-only module with new proprietary mount. Bundle a Ricoh "special anniversary" 40mm f/1.4 or f/2 with it. Doesn't have to be AF, just electronic connections for aperture change, etc.

In couple weeks, the adapter makers would already start making different mount adapters for it.
