Wow !! It worked . Thank you for your kind welcome . The fact that I was actually able to load a picture and your words of encouragement have emboldened me to try a few more pictures . These were taken at a wedding of some dear friends in September . Shortly after I got my GXR w/s10 .

Great pictures aquilon. All of them. I especially like the first one. He reminds me of an old time storyteller, having the crowd entranced with tales of daring and adventure...... :D

Marcus ,thank you for your words . The scene is the night before the wedding when the two families sit opposite each other and members of each family take turns telling the other family why their member is so suited to be the betrothed of the other families loved one . A good deal of bragging on the behalf either the bride or groom to be takes place . This photo is actually the groom himself telling the other family how much he loves their loved one and that he will always do so with the utmost honor and integrity . I think it is a very early northern European tradition or perhaps Native American . My friends are very into early traditions and incorporate many into their daily lives .

Wonderful pics. I particularly like the gal giving you the eye for bringing out the GXR in her kitchen!

Mainiac ,she and I were comparing forehead wrinkles . She is quite a good photographer so I believe my being there with camera at the ready is completely understandable to her . I understand your take on it completely though .
