Greetings from Spain and a question on the new camera case

Hi there,

Nice to be here and read all your post. I hope I will learn a lot with your experience.

I am new to the GXR... I saw the presentation of the camera in Tokyo's Bic Camera and since then I was interested in the new concep, even more due to my job (professional geologist) as I needed an equipment more portable than the "normal" reflex equipments (I still own two film cameras Olympus OM2 and one digital Lumix DMC-LX1).

I have a question for you: did anyone buy the new leather camera case?? Any comments???

Hi Jordi and welcome on the board! I too did not buy the GXR camera case. I usually carry the GXR (along with another module and spare GRD/CX (or something completely different) in Ricoh GB-1 I won some time ago in Ricoh contest. It's great and very sturdy (yet good looking) camera bag. But of course, it's probably not as small as you need it?
