HI
Note this:
The battery for RICOH GR1V must be subjected at least to a load a month to protect itself against effect memory and to avoid that its tension falls too much low. A battery in repose too much for a long time risks losing its performances, or even not working any more of the whole.
Let never go down your Lithium battery ion underneath 20 % of capacity before recharging it
The battery for RICOH GR1V is delivered with a residue of load. It is necessary to load it before its use. It is also recommended to load and to unload your new battery for RICOH GR1V 2 for 5 times to acquire its maximum capacity.
Hi frglme,
to be honest I did not ever have a problem with my GR1v (recently sold to fund a new lens for my GXR).
I certainly never used rechargable batteries in mine, so cannot comment on the charging suggestion mentioned above.
The only logical reason for this problem is that the film is not fully winding out of the spool, but I cannot think why. When you look at the negatives is it obvious which end of the film has not been used? I am as puzzled as you are...
Good luck with a solution!
Andy
