I have mixed feeling about GR. In the daily shoot, I found it shows lots of noise in ISO 800 and 1600. 1600 is unusable in my standards. I have Olympus OM-D EM-5 and Fujifilm X100, both I feel much better than GR, even though I did not do a direct comparison.
When I first got the GR, I did a few test shots, feeling it's not sharp and with lots of noise. Then this Show shooting changed my opinion. These were all shot in ISO 800/1600, handheld, -1/2 exposure compensation. I am very pleased with its performance. I turned the display OFF, and used Snap focus of 5m/infinity. All pictures are direct JPEG without any processing.
For those of you very familiar with GR, could you please review these photos and let me know if you think my GR copy is normal, or it does have noise and sharpness problem that I was concerned about?
Many thanks, and glad to be a new member of GR community.
