Interesting location (roughly where?). The garden is even more overgrown than ours. The VDub helps give it a period feel. The compostion is interesting. So an interesting image that raises some questions (good). Please post more.
Thanks. This is in Candler Park neighborhood of Atlanta, which has a mix of beautifully restored Craftsman and Victorian properties, but also these great characteristic old family properties that hold on to the scrappy / crunchy attitude this area keeps holding on to.
I also like these very much, although I'm not usually a fan of B&W. Also would be interested to know if these are SOOC? Let's see more... (and color, too)
These above are both post process BW in LR. It lets me squeeze a bit more resolution and DR through color channel manipulation.
Especially in the first one, where the green channel really needs work (or a filter, if you are in camera), to draw tonal definition out of the plant life.
I'm still tweaking my ideal in camera BW settings for the GR.
