In the time taken to retrieve the camera & view the image. This golden glow vanished. No more than 30 seconds & the tree was grey again.

Phil, you hit that fleeting moment in time. Gone now.
Richard, they look a bit like Ghost Gums to me, so called due to their white tree trunks. Could be wrong though! :?

Tis a eucalyptus. What variety I don't know or can't find out. Tried to find out myself to see how long it would be in blossom.
It has small blossom caps that fall to the ground along with the little web like blossoms. It makes a total mess & has to be swept
up every second day. They open at night for the bats & possums, then the birds feed morning noon & dusk.
It's a large tree approximately 30 meters high & across. Supporting wildlife like possums, rats, bats & many bird varieties.
Honey eaters, lorikeets, parrots, spoggies, black birds, wattle birds & a owl one night.
Will try to get a photo to show its size.

Here is an indication of its size
Big

Yep, that's about 35 meters tall. The funny thing is that around here we don't even have the largest trees.
They are in Victoria & Western Australia. HUGH
