I have a GR IV monochrome and a Ricoh-GF-2 flash.
I did my research on the internet and bought this flash as it is compatible with the GR IV ( I am assuming also with the GR IV Monochrome too).
I have noticed an issue when I use the GF-2 with the GR IV monochrome. The issue is that the GF-2 Powers-off after 4-5 flashes ! (the flash is fully charged).
I also have a GR III HDF... here is my analysis.
on my GR III HDF:- FW version 2.10
I activated the 'GF-2 Flash mode' setting.
The flash works very well with the GR III HDF.

on my GR iV monochrome:- FW version 1.00
I could not find any setting for the 'GF-2 Flash mode' anywhere in the menu.
The GF-2 Powers-off after 4-5 flashes !
I am suspecting that the GF-2 flash itself is fine (as it works well with the GR III), but it has issues with the GR IV monochrome.
Has anyone else had this issue ?
