Are these birds common?
Andy, these parrots are all over Australia even seen in quite arid areas. They seem to be able to survive quite well in the hot parts of the country as well as the wet. This particular species of bird lives in a very small area at the very top of Cape York in Queensland. I can't recall the exact name of this species sorry!
