Nice Christian - a good use of the shadows and the picture says 'Baltic Holiday' to me. I used to sail from Kiel annually along the German Baltic coast and the Danish islands and really liked the area.

Thanks Richard, I like this area too - in particular the many islands between Als and Langeland - the so-called Danish South Seas

Hi Christian, Ærøskøbing was my favourite place. Choice of a modern marina or the old harbour to moor in (I preferred the harbour) and some quaint buildings and a great pub. We scurried in there once in a F8-9 northerly and were number 8 out on a raft as the harbour was fully - the 'non tidal' Baltic then dropped a good 2 metres as the wind pushed the water somewhere else. Being an 'east coast' (UK) sailor, I was at home with all the sand banks. a very underrated cruising area by UK sailors.
