Fort Canning Hill

Visiting Fort Canning after more than 40 years. The tombs are still there. I remember playing catching
around these tomb stones with fellow classfmates after school hours during the 1960s. Nothing much as change
except that the trees in the surrounding areas are now older by 40 years.

Fort Canning was built in 1859 as an arms store, barracks and hospital.
This unique place contains many memorials of Singapore's early history dating back to the 14th century.
It is a place where Sir Stamford Raffles (the founder of Singapore) had one of his own houses
