Not bad first shots with new camera 
I miss something important in the first picture. The second one is much better balanced to my eyes. I'm curious why did you use ISO800 in this shot since the GRDIII suggested 1/2000? I guess you could easily use ISO100 here and there will still be plenty of time?

To be honest, I was on rapid fire changing settings randomly and shooting randomly just to get a feel of the camera. And I am loving it more and more.
I ordered Oly EP2 thinking it would be compact, yet versatile with better IQ and GRD 3 was supposed to be shipped back today. With my random shoot, I think I am seriously inclined to keep GRD with just a small confusion on whether to go with GXR as 28mm module is round the corner. But I don't think I will be part away from Ricoh soon
