OK, I am not even sure if these are 'streetshots' but here is my personal view of the Vienna old town (plus one from the 'new' across the Danube Canal).

I think they do qualify for Street. Particularly the last three.
I wonder is anyone will define it in words?. Might be a bit of discussion about that.

I think they are great images... Nice architecture with a sprinkling of people. All well taken.

I get a bit bored with the endless arguments concerning 'street' photography. Too many rules. Just shoot and enjoy.

Thank you all for your kind comments and thoughts. The 'streetscape' suggestion sits well with me; more what I achieve than streetshots really.
Love shooting on the street, just not always about people...though they always seem to make or break the final images taken...

This is a very nice series! Some might be stills from a black&white film, especially # 3, 5('The Third Man'), 7 :!:

Hi Christian,
thanks for your observations! I do like a back drop which captures my emotions; this might help produce a film still type of thread running though the set. The 35mm lens which I used for these also seems well suited for shooting with minimal distortion of the verticals. I grow to like it more each time I take it out! A good sign, iws!
