Hello

I am from Scotland and have owned a GX200 for about six months. I did a lot of cruising round this site before I jumped and made the purchase and was grateful for all the advice I got here. Finally, I thought I ought to join up!

Since getting the GX200 I find that I am using it increasingly often as it is just such a nice camera to use. It may not have the absolute best IQ of all my cameras, but it is the one I like using the most.

I am looking forward to seeing just how far I can stretch the GX200 - there are some great examples on this site.

Hi Andrew and welcome here! Don't forget to post some photos taken with your GX200!

One of the ways getting most out of the GX200 is RAW processing. In this way you can extract most details from the GX200 files and overcome the noise reduction smearing visible in anything above ISO200. So if you are not familiar with RAW processing, don't be scared to start with it. It definitely helps to extract most out of the GX200 files.
 
Err, you asked - I have obliged. See in the flowers/macro etc section.

And yes, I just like taking pictures with the GX200 more than pretty much any other camera I have, including the ones with better IQ.
