Fifa World Cup re-visited

Sorry for those of you in a cold climate. Hamburg at this time of the year would have been about -18 degrees and the Elbe river would have been totally frozen over - a glorious opportunity for photography. Very happy to see that the cyclone over Australia has been less damaging than expected.

Thanks Pavel for comment. There was security tape in front ( to hold back photographers most probably ) so I did not get quite the view desired but this will do fine as a memory.

Chris,
I initially had the bold idea to post this as 'Euro 2008 Re-visited', but (probably) sensibly changed my mind... :)
My guess was that this Vienna roof-top statue-ette may look like she is playing football in my slightly warped mind, but not to anyone else!

We are actually enjoying 10 degrees and sunshine today, so, for a few minutes at least, we can pretend that winter has gone...
All the best,
Andy

Andy, I sometimes have the feeling that the statuette or her likes is playing football with the world. Good use of the P10 !

Thanks Andy, for extending the vision - nothing wrong with allowing one's imagination to climb to all sorts of heights; maybe something to do with the mild weather. Although I don't recall any real 'fliers' in the Austrian team- a couple of fliers and 'divers' amongst the Peruvians though :D

Thanks for comment, David.
