Nevin, I can see the appeal of this image. I love the cloudscape that you have captured however for me, I'd like to see the face bought up just a bit more visible. Its quite an original portrait - well done

The exposure was a bit difficult. I think I should have turned on the flash to manual 1/32 and dialed down the exposure combo a bit. You are in saying thvery right e defect. I totally agree with you.
 
Nevin, I like the face just as it is. I first thought it was a statue (but my laptop screen totally sucks). But I can't like the composition. There is such a strong contrast (in mode, in color, in everything) between the face and the sky, and they don't seam to balance. I would try a close crop where the face is looking at something outside the picture, or a panoramic crop with the top sky part removed to give the face more weight looking across the sky (preferably with some tiny narrow land strip towards the bottom left corner to give the picture some frame).
 
Tommy, thank you. I just covered the upper part of the sky with my hand. It looks different, and gives the face a better weight. Great idea, Tommy. ;)
