Taken this past week while on vacation. At it's best, am finding the CX1 to be a great camera.

Did you carry out much processing of the image? The detail in the water are still nicely sharp...

Nothing except re-sizing. Straight from the camera. I really, really hate post-processing my images. Absolute laziness and lack of talent in that area.

I like it too. My eye moves left to right, right to left.
I love the gryphon cloud sneeking under the clouds across the water between the light poles.

Nice one! The trick of nice looking out-of-camera photos from CX/R cameras is in their heavy processing. They may appear ugly if viewed in full size and at pixel level. But they look excellent when printed or scaled down. They are contrast, very sharp and well saturated. I'm sure this image would look superb printed!

Thanks. While it may have heavy processing, it seems to be a more appealing photo. As an informal comparison, this has had 3 times the views than my other photo. Which was done with a GRDI and has no processing or noise reduction. Not saying either one is better. Just different.
