Super set! No consolation but we've had the same weather in the Highlands today (sunrise from our front garden posted below).

I knew i should have stayed ! I like your front garden . The view at least !

"Beautiful ".... being spoilt for stunning views here recently & what better walk could Taz ask for

I Liked Cumbria - and must return ! ;)

Be well .

Kort .

I've come back to these again and again and feel that I must repeat how stunning I find them - especially # 1 & 3 although I really like them all. Did you lug the tripod for these and what PP have you done?

R

PS despite neither of us being 'zoom' people, the A16 is producing great results in your hands and I'm thinking about one

Fantastic photos from both of you! Congrats.
@Ripbab: in the last picture, is the rainbow part of the flare in the lens or from the scene it self? I ask you this because basically the A12-50 also generates this type of "opposed circular section of rainbow" flare when a hard light gets into the scene.

What else to add. Maybe, "Wow".
#1 is perfect with the blueish distant valley with its high tide of mist nicely contrasting with the golden already sunlit hill tops in the foreground.
However, the winner for me is #3. The light down in the valley is just amazing. It is the Great capture with capital G.
I think getting up that early was well worth it. Thank you much for sharing, Ripbab.

No tripod used on theses Richard. And lazy PP too. just the quick fix in Aperture, then a little work on highlights and shadows.

Fantastic set! The pictures are all wonderful and it is not easy to pick one among them! Great job!
