Does Spot Metering move with the AF point?

Hi Guys,

Does Spot Metering move with the AF point? I read from the instruction manual and it seem possible.

On page 49, when the AE/EF/AE target moves, metering is locked to [Spot].

Hi Denis and welcome here! Spot Metering will move its point only if you move the AE/AF or just AE target point. Spot Metering will not move with the AF point alone. Hope this helps?

Thanks! I just bought the GR yesterday. That's a good feature. Not many camera even my Canon 5D Mk3 allow spot metering to move with the AF point. With GR, now I don't need to lock the AE using only the center point and re-compose.
