Another from the weekend...one man and his 'dog'?

Hm...exif data still missing...but that would be mt GRD3 though! Almost as good as the '4'? :)

For me the GRD3 IQ was waaay better than the 2 but the 3 / 4 IQ is much closer, either is good, only subtle differences.
Some of the expressions are priceless.
BTW - nice tones :D

Nothing fancy actually. Due to my location, I am back to using PS Elements 8 which has only a simple b&w conversion menu (though it only seems to work with the JPEG, which is a pity). It is quick to apply though it only has options for RGB adjustment. Early days for me yet with this software...
I think the sky and clouds were great last Saturday which helped a lot to create the overall tone.

Thank you for your comments Tim. I think I will happily bide with the '3' for now...it is growing on me the more I use it. I was actually very surprised and pleased with the shot I entered for this August's competition. Vastly better than anything my GX100 would have taken, with very little grain and good EV latitude. Andy
