Well, it's almost Christmas here in Sydney, we will soon experience 35+C temperatures, and some people around here take the festivities pretty seriously.
There is one street that almost everyone take part in lighting their houses up, this is one of the brightest ones...

My favorite Christmas decorations are those huge ones where we can go inside.

Just like this one in my city (probably I won't be able to take some shot's this year  so here goes one from 2008)

This had some artificial snow coming down every minute, so it was a kind of an "hit and run" situation

This was the first 'skyscraper' to be built in Vienna. It has a pole with lights on its roof which flashes in various ways in green, red and white to show what weather is coming next. In the last few years it has also a net of lights draped around one corner in the shape of a christmas tree.

The venue for our Christmas Party was held at The Coconut Palace in Manila. This is one of their main decors for the holiday season. This palace is made out mostly of coconut shells, coconut lumbers, and different variety of Philippine hardwoods.

Black Ricoh, I love your backyard photo - what light is that a photo of, hanging above your tree? The moon? A neighbor's lamp?

Thanks! Yes right, it is the moon in dark time. It is sad that "warm" light comes from right side (from the street) and makes second shadow, because I didn't want it.
