dc.watch article covering GRDIV launch - many new pics

Our usual source of early news, Japanese dc.watch.impress.co.jp published an article covering the GRDIV launch. There are some new details about particular features and some new live pics from the show. It's an interesting read despite the imperfect google translation ;)

I really like the wooden grip. The price of grip replacement service is set to 5,775yen. I'm curious if this service will be available also to use non-Japanese folks?

From the published comparisons, the GRD4 NR and gradation seems to be noticeably improved over the GRDIII. It would be interesting to make a real world comparison ;)

Nice collectible on the DC watch site

Thanks for the cool information, Pavel.

It seems a technical improvement. I will definitely be buying one or two. I was going to wait for them to reach the second hand market, but I'll probably pick up a white limited edition on the dealer waitlist and then get a black one second hand later.

I am waiting for just this as well as some other info, like the banding issue, etc. This camera is not that different but there are a few differences that may make it worth to consider an upgrade.
