Love the minimalist look image here. Particular favs are #1 and #4.
The HDR look BW cloudscapes are a quite surreal.
Thanks for posting :D

GXR and A12 forms certainly an outstanding couple, even if the talent of the photographer is very visible here.

I like this report, the quality and the dive, the black and white as the colours, so well retranscribed atmosphere.

Very nice Christian. I particularly like 1,3 &4 and it reminds me of Riddle of the Sands (Erskine Childers) which is a book I re-read every few years. I wonder who had planted the withies (sticks showing the channel edge) in #1?

Tim, Peter, Gyl and Richard, thanks for stopping by and the comments ;)

@Richard
This is a fairway marking commonly used in the Wadden Sea: mostly young, about five meters high birch trees or poles are used, featuring a small waterway, in which a buoyage would be too costly or impossible. Mostly only one side of the fairway is staked. Port (of the lake coming): at the upper end down tied together branches were attached (blunt shape).

No. 4 is good. and the sky in your B&W is ominous, giving a strange mood to the everyday things going on with the people!

Very nice "look" to the photos, and I like the triangle of the lone couple walking on the sand, the ship and the sun.
