Chinese Steamed free range herbal chicken

Here is what we had for a simple dinner, prepared full of love by my wife....sigh..are my pictures getting too cliche and too boring? Any one any suggestions on how to prep up food shots to make it more interesting? You guys must be bored already with my shots.. :?
1. Steamed free range herbal chicken

5. And of course, we chinese will always complete our meals with our staple food, rice.

Looks great as always! Your food photos are anything but boring! ;) In a new (updated) forum I will definitely create a dedicated section for your food photos! :D
 
Boring? Sure, if you call boring the fact that your shots make me hungry and drooling again and again... ;)

My wife and I enjoyed looking at these excellent food photos; we would like to know what the vivid green vegetable is in *4 ;) .
 
Thanks for name; 'choi sam'. We have a number of Chinese restaurants here in Durban so I will get a chance to be given a local explanation or perhaps English equivalent ;) .
 
Awesome choice, those dumplings if near us would get "hoovered up" - meaning to be eaten without much hesitation. The choi sam is a kind of cabbage or maybe spinnach perhaps?
