Caplio 500G wide - filter thread size

Hello all - I just acquired this camera and would like to protect the front glass with a filter cap (or filter) - but I cannot find any information on Ricoh site or elsewhere (including the user manual) about the filter size.

1) Does anybody know?
2) Does anybody use a filter cap with it they know works?

Hi karspoul.

The filter diameter is 37mm. I don't have any idea about lens cap. But you can find some 3rd party caps (with diameter 37mm) on ebay.
