Before reading the rest of the post, excuse my silly description. ;) Now, I'll be very thankful if you can post some close ( not very, something like some steps away ) portrait or people shots, taken with A12 28mm or 50mm wide open. After 4 years of love and hate to GX100, I am in preperation phase to get a gxr with a12 and I aim to have shots like one below. In attached shot, I had used a 40d with ef 28mm 2.8. it was a relatively cheap canon lens but I adored when using - sharp wide open, enough DOF control, small etc. I can't go to a monster dslr, so my natural path is ricoh, how I wish ricoh would give us a fast 40mm apsc lensor. :)

Aydemiru, knowing your photography style, I think you should better wait for the upcoming zoom module. Although its hard to say anything about its size and working apertures, it may be better option for you than just A12 28 or 50. True, the prime lenses will be optically better than zoom lens. But 16MP and should give you enough resolution and ISO advantage over 12MP sensor in A12 modules. Eventually, you should consider the M mount with a collection of manual lenses. It seems people are very satisfied with the M mount and the photos they keep posting are gorgeous ;) And if you love 40mm, the M mount could be the best option for you. All you need is to get a nice 28mm lens, like for example Voigtlander Ultron 28/2.0 or slightly faster (but also bigger and more expensive) Voigtlander 28/1.9. These lenses, if attached to the M mount, will turn to 42mm, which is close enough to your (and my) loved 40mm.

hi Pavel. Thanks so much for the reply. After one week of dense final research and couple of years hanging with different SLRs, considering samsung NXs with 30mm 2.0 /20mm 2.8, x100 with lovely lens or even Nex c3/5n
with insufficent lenses ( big 18-55, 50mm, not so good 16mm ), I turned back to GXR. But the problem is what you wrote. Still so many questions and options. By the way, I didn't hate sony because of buttons, UI, customization ( function assignment is more than enough ) but hugeeeee lenses, silly. Otherwise, especially considering new c3/5n with new sensor it is not a bad body option IMHO. Samsung has nice lenses, but I am not sure about body. x100 very attractive so there must be a problem :D ( one lens ). I don't like machinery talk but this time I am there, save me
