Camera shopping in Barcelona, Spain

I had the privilege of landing in Barcelona again two weeks ago on a working trip and contacted our fellow Ricoh shooter Albert. I only had an evening to spend there as I had to return to NY the very next day. But I wanted to share a couple photos from our excursion to my favorite camera shop. (You see I don't live near much of anything and when I travel to the major cities around the US I'm still not close to a real camera store. I define real as one that stock Ricoh cameras and Leica M mount lenses.)

I put together a quick summary on my blog plus I had a chance to see Albert's Contax G Zeiss lens. What a beauty!

Thank you again Albert for showing me a great time with wonderful conversation and food too!!!

Duane, very nice photographs. Which lens was this? It has very unobtrusive bokeh and great sharpness for 'available light' work.

 Wonderful shots and PP except for that guy with glasses that spoils all the shots... Thanks Duane for sharing the evening.

I'm not sure which lens I had on the camera for the first three as we were trying several Zeiss lenses. 21mm 2.8, 25mm 2.8 and of course the last shot I do know was the Zeiss 50mm f1.5 Sonnar.

Can't go by without saying that last image is a great portrait.
Nice

+++1, I think its excellent, plus we can now put a face to posts.
Now, can we get Duane to fly to all our cities and visit our local camera shops and take our portraits?

Duane, here in Adelaide we have a retailer called the "Photoco", they have been there three generations, and are in the middle of our "Central Market" a large grocers market which has a reputation for some of the best produce on the planet.

I wish I could take credit for the portrait photo. It was taken with my camera and the Zeiss 50mm Sonnar. But it was Albert the store salesman who took it. He took an awesome shot!
