I see GXR+M Module listed for $1067 including shipping and 8 folks already bought it. Considering GXR+A12 28/50mm module costs 920 in US, I am very tempted to pick this up.

Just wondering if anyone has bought stuff like this from HK and what's your experience.
 
sagar, if you are in the U.S., Pro Photo in Portland OR (an authorized Ricoh dealer) still had the GXR and Mount A12 in stock last week when I bought mine. $998 and I believe regular UPS shipping is included in that price.

If you live elsewhere, note that they only ship to U.S. addresses.
 
That's the right place alright... Ask for Tom Huston, he sold one to me last week as I said. GXR + Mount A12 + VF-2 viewfinder, all in stock.
 
I live in HK, and have seen both the GXR + M Mount (package) and the M Mount alone for sale, at a somewhat better price than that, but the shop only sells locally. There are some deals to be found, but keep in mind that Ricoh's warranties are not international. If you buy in HK, the warranty is only good in HK, from what I've been told.
 
Warranty is what held me back from buying from HK myself. Ricoh US apparently will cover warranty work for cameras purchased in the U.S. for U.S. or Canadian residents.
