Good picture with story. But I think it could be greatly improved by cropping the upper part with sky and trees completely out. Just leave the fence, car a kids and you will see how much better it would!

I did looked at such a crop when I post processed this photo, but the uncropped version looked more natural to me. Looking at it again now I agree it is more appealing. Isn't digital photography fun?

Hi, I like these color shots with reduced tonal range... here in Central Europe we can simply wait for winter but you have certainly to be more creative
IMHO the crop perfectly emphasizes the reduced color palette and the image gains by the simplified scene without disturbing background. Good job!

Me too likes the cropped version best, but I think it should be cropped just a tad more to remove the "triangles" between the fence poles, because they add too much movement to the top edge. It's a very cool (as in ) image.
