#1. the blur of the gulls wings is spot on. good shutter speed choice. there is enough detail in the bird but just enough blur to show movement.
#2. I like the human element that you placed in the top corner. this image may look better in a square format, cropping off all the bottom and keep the top. paulyrichard put me onto that format and it works well IMHO
#3. hehe what a curious wave pattern on the beach. A decisive moment here for sure. a few seconds later and it would be gone!
Great series.

This Idea is pretty good. I was already thinking about. May I will prepare another version. But I loved the streamed waves on the whole lengh too.

I really like the shot with the seagulls best, when I look at this image there's a great sense of movement and action. Nice one.
IMO I think it could do with a slight contrast boost, the image is a little flat for my likin'. Great image it jus' needs some tinkerin'.
I know i'm not perfect but when I shoot or post process B&W images I am always thinkin' about Ansel Adams and the zone system, and i'm always tryin' to ensure that there are a good range of tones in my images.
Its difficult sometimes 'cos of the dynamic range of the GX200.
