B&W Close-up

Here's another close-up shot of mine, and i wonder if the b&w of this photo is okay because i've seen many other b&w photos with higher contrast.
Hope to get some c&cs from you guys.

Hi Timothy and welcome to the forum.

Nice shot. The GX200 is a great 'carry all the time' camera to experiment with, I loved using mine before I moved on to a GXR.
One way to get a stronger contrast is to shoot RAW, and then output one of the RGB channels as monochrome in post processing.

if a picture needs more or less contrast, is just a matter of taste!

you are the photographer so you decide.
i like this just the way it is. ;)

just experiment with the post processing and see what YOU like most.
 
Interesting abstract! Works for me exactly as it is...but try other variations? Perhaps easier to choose a 'winner' then! ;)
