I like most the last one (simple in colours though the colours are nicely vivid, one stem crossing the remaining) and the third to last (unexpected appearance after the street series).

Peter

I like the one with the clarinet (?) player - the lines of the branch and the instrument make a lovely composition, and the light/dark contrasts are perfect IMO.

Quester & Peter, thank you both for your nice comments ;)

Here are two more pics taken with selfmade adapter and lens of a broken Leica Mini II: the blue hyacinths 24 hours later and red amaryllis

Christian,

Two sets for the price of one! You must have been on your knees in the street. Is that a clarinet or a sax? Can't really tell.

I really like the colour shots - fabulous shades. How do you arrange the lighting? You have a very distinctive style with flowers.

Richard

Many thanks for the friendly feedback ;)

Richard,
it's a sax in the street.

The lighting in the colour shots is simple:
Natural light falls into a white-painted veranda, the sky is slightly clouded. (The background is made of a white paper roll)

Thanks, Christian

The flower series is great, but I found myself stopping at the Carmen image.
The look/feel and tones of the image work well with the little splash of colour from the hair to the nail and lipstick.
The detail from the art she is studying adds to make the whole image interesting to look at. Well framed also.

I'd be interested to see your Leica Mini II lens that you adapted.
