Athens, Greece in 2 Hours

Yep, I'm in Athens Greece now and had two hours earlier this evening and decided to head to the Acropolis for some quick shots.

Thanks petach. I wasn't as happy with my Athens photos as I was with the photos I took in Rome. I have several more but they're mostly monument type of photos. Here's another one from that same spot but with a little bit different perspective.

These are good shots too but the Rome photos are more interesting (to me)....I think it may be some thing to do with the time of day...these are in bright daylight (when most of the tourists are taking shots) whereas the Rome shots were taken in the evening (I think) and that is part of what makes them stand out. The first photo of yours I remember viewing was of the Eiffel Tower taken in the evening and that image (superb) was also a night shot. Just some thoughts.

It's on a list I have somewhere I just have to make time! I'm on a shuttle bus right now going from hotel to airport so I can finally get home.

Douane, the master of the 'touch and go'... The second picture of the theatre you showed is much better than the first one, imo, since gives better he sens of the space...
