If you are ever in Antwerp, the boat museum has a few interesting 'subjects' just waiting to be photographed

my sort of place! I once was in a similar museum in Shetland...there is something really cool about old boats...like analogue cameras, LP's...

I love the old boats, reminds us of a bygone era. The P905 looks an interesting craft.

its a tough place to photograph, the lighting is not easy,

I too have a love of 'old transport', boats, steam trains etc...just has to be photographed.

The museum is on the riverbank, and is located in former dockside buildings, lighting is 'challenging' to say the least. I would have prefered to use my GDR2, but I was 'road-testing' my recently purchased Pentax W80, I now know that whilst the W80 has many good points, low light photography isn't one of them!

I like the photo of the figurehead, do you have any more?

David, I like the lightning and composition of the first shot. Good choice of B&W! In my opinion, the second and third shots are not that strong.
