Agawa Bay

Easily good enough for a tourist board brochure - but then if more people visited it would be spoilt. I love the colour of the water and you timed the wave to perfection.

Exceedingly good image for me. Its quite optimum for digital, no nasty highlights or deep shadow areas so it give an impression of nice even DR.
Lovely composition. It could be used for a book or magazine cover with the empty space.
It certainly comes alive more in the larger version, make sure you click on it.

I like it. :)

CLEAN! Nice colours, nice sharpness, nice composition....Fabulous pack!

+1. Make sure you do! ;)

The scenery is appealing, the processing helped it a lot (the bright orange people not so much ;) ), but the water is what makes it for me. The wave looks like alive.

I agree the rolling unbroken wave is where my eye starts then to the tree line and the sky.
I was unsure about the people, but I think they add scale - I'd leave them in.
Being soooo tiny they could easily be tweaked out (removed) unlike the raindrops in Berts other image.

I find it interesting how different parts of the photo stand out for different people. Looking at it now, I would have liked it further to the left to show the entire wave where its washed up on the shore, but that would show up the ugly DANGER sign more. The "orange people" are a bit annoying but then the sun was almost set so the colours were a bit orangy anyways. But when I took the photo, the parts that stuck out for me were the rocks, of course, and the cloud formation over the distant hills which I found fascinating. But thats probably where the people got too much orange from because I was trying to bring out the clouds.
Thanks for all the comments/suggestions/criticisms. I do tend to get a little carried away with Lightroom. I actually toned down this version compared to the one I put on flickr

Wonderful picture. I love the place, the composition and the light... in few words, very well done!

Ahh. Northern Ontario, where my heart is. Windswept white pine, clean and clear water, Precambrian granite. This photo has it all. Beautiful.

Orol, maybe the shot was at sunset, in which case people near water can indeed glow orange...
