Peter, you handled this really well. Most would shoot as a horizontal because it's a landscape. Verticals of landscapes are more difficult due to dynamic tension. You put that in it's place by the balancing bridge. Just a perfect image....

Beautifully exposed Peter from the clouds to the stones. I like the compostion showing the hills and the orange tint below the bridge which draws my eye to the horizon. Must try more vertical shots.

Very nice pic Peter! As the others have said, you used the portrait framing very well indeed ;) .

There is something about the repetitive horizontal banding and the diagonal swell on the water that draws the eye in and adds up to much more than the individual parts!
I like it too...

Enjoyed this one very much - the many horizontal lines (clouds, mountains, bridge, treeline, ripples, shore...), and the small vertical one smack in the middle. Well done!

Something for the eye at every level as you look from top to bottom. Super!

Oops... I missed this one...

Fantastic photo Peter, what a wonderful colors and composition.

Absolutely lovely Peter. Just can't get better than this colour combination, along with the wonderful way you've fitted all things together perfectly well in this format... :D

Enjoying you enjoying the photo. Thank you all much for your kindness folks.

+1 Beautiful composition and color. The vertical orientation sure makes this photograph different.
